The first part of construction on the house is over. All of the windows on the second and third floors have been replaced. Construction is now starting on the new fire escape, which will be located on the South side of the house.

Recent Events: Summer 2009 – LA Beta would like to congratulate the 2009 winner of its prestigious “Balanced Man Scholarship” for high school seniors, Connor Jenkins. The winner of the award is a student who proves himself to be exemplary as a scholar, leader, athlete, and gentleman.

New Members: This Spring, the LA Beta Chapter welcomed 4 new brothers into the chapter. SigEp continues to be ranked as one of the top fraternities on LSU's campus.

Top GPA Once Again

Sigma Phi Epsilon continued it's academic tradition by obtaining the top GPA of all the fraternities at LSU for the Spring of '09, obtaining an overall GPA of 3.15. This makes nine out of the past ten semesters that Sig Ep has had the highest grades. Congratulations Louisiana Beta!
